Hooray! My spiritual director. Fr. Jerome, has read the whole manuscript and was so encouraging! He said that it was a much needed text, very insightful and conversational, drawing the reader in. He said that the parts on St. Teresa of Avila were accurate and engaging (he teaches Teresa regularly; he is a Carmelite). He asked if I was ready to send it to a publisher--he said he was sure that it would get "scooped up" very quickly!
So nice to hear! That made my day!
