Crete

In a rather daring move, we decided to add Crete to our itinerary here in Greece. Not close to other Greek islands, it has a history and culture of its own. We do not think of it as a fine tourist destination, but rather as a place of incredible historical and cultural interest. We have been shocked at the beauty and intrigue of this unique island!
